This are the rough sketches of the digipak and maganzine advert. We wanted to get some potential ideas down on paper, then develop from there. It was really helpful for me, as then I cold get a better idea of what layouts might work better than others. It was important for me to have an actual drawing of what i wanted before I went on the computor, as my photshop skills won't the best--So i just wanted to be clear in the vision i wanted. I did a number of different sketches to experiment with different fonts, images and layouts. Then presented them to the rest of my group, we discussed which ones we like and why we liked then and any improvements that could be made. This made sure that we could produce the best possible result that everyone was happy with. It think this was a successand i am really pleased with the process we are making in these task and to create a digipak and advert that really presents the band and the video affectively.
