Tester for Stop Motion

The first test we did as a group was test motion, this was a key technique that we wanted to figure out how it works, the affect and whether it was easy to include in our music video. We tried to perform each movement on burst/sports mode which worked--so we took a photo every1/2 seconds to try and capture every sight bit of movement. It was a more different that we first thought, as if the camera changed angle/position even a little it didn't work, it became disjointed and not a fluid as we wanted. It was hard for Me and Emily in the video to stay in the same spot for the entire movement as we had to keep stoping and starting. The use of the tripod and keeping in the same place did help, but i think that with more practise and learning from our mistakes, we hope to include a little part of this technique in our music video--but as it is an affect that takes a long time to get perfect and if it is right it looks rubbish. So i think we really need to think about what types and location if we wanted to include stop motion.
The second test we put it onto the same mode but did the routine all through  instead of stoping and starting so it only took 2 shots to do the full routine. This was more successful so when we come to do our stop motion part of the production we will do it in this sort of way.
